CONFLOW-CP is a polycarboxylate based advanced superplasticizer for use in cementitious systems, particularly "low" or "no" slump mixtures. CONFLOW-CP imparts excellent workability and slump control in concrete and flow control in mortars. These beneficial properties are maintained over extended periods of time compared to conventional plasticizers, such as sulfonated naphthalene/melamine formaldehyde condensates, where flow properties and workability tend to deteriorate significantly over time.

CONFLOW-CP is an admixture of a new generation based on modified Polycarboxylic ether. The product has been primarily developed for application in high performance concrete where the highest durability and performance is required.
CONFLOW-CP is free of chloride and low alkali. It is compatible with all types of cements.

Chemistry & Mechanism Of Action: 
What differentiates CONFLOW-CP from the traditional super plasticize rs is a new, unique mechanism of action that greatly improves the effectiveness of cement dispersion. Traditional super plasticizes based on melamine and naphthalene Sultanates are polymers which are absorbed by the cement granules. They wrap around the granules'' surface areas at the very early stage of the concrete mixing process. The Symphonic groups of the polymer chains increase the negative charge of the cement particle surface and disperse these parties by electrical repulsion. This electrostatic mechanism causes the cement paste to disperse and has the positive consequence of requiring less mixing water to obtain a given concrete workability.

CONFLOW-CP has a different chemical structure from the traditional super plasticizes. It consists of a carboxylic ether polymer with long side chains. At the beginning of the mixing process it initiates the same electrostatic dispersion mechanism as the traditional super plasticizers, but the side chains linked to the polymer backbone generates a steric hindrance which greatly stabilizes the cement particles'' ability to separate and disperse. steric hindrance provides a physical barrier (alongside the electrostatic barrier) between the cement grains. With this process, flow able concrete with greatly reduced water content is obtained.

Dosage:

• Optimum dosage of CONFLOW-CP should be determined with trial mixes. As a guide, a dosage range of 200m1 to 500 in! per 50 ''Kg. bag of cement is normally recommended. Because of vibrations in concrete materials, job site conditions, and/or applications, dosages outside of the recommended range may be required. In such cases, contact your local representative.

Storage And Shelf Life: 

• CONFLOW-CP must be stored where temperatures do not drop below + 5 Degree C. Shelf life is 12 months when stored in cool Dry place.

Conflow-S is a Naphthalene based Superplasticizer Admixture for cement, which reduces the requirement of water upto 30% without affecting the setting time in concrete mix. It makes the concrete dense, flowable, pumpable less honeycomb and increases its strength up to 25%. Useful in heavily reinforced concrete & water retaining structures. It is chloride and nitrate free. Also available in retarding grade.Conflow-S is a Synthetic Su!phonated Naphthalene based Superplasticizer supplied in liquid form to be used With concrete mix to increase Its slump. without addition of extra water. It disperses cement particles in to smaller particles and works as a dispersing agent thus improves its. workability and waterproofing properties. It complies to ASTM C- 494 type-F BS 5075 part 3 IS 9103 1979 standard.

Con???ow—S has high range water reducing properties and gives high early as well as ultimate strength. By adding Con???ow-Sin the concrete the slump is increased, which leads to the easier placebility. On the other hand by reducing the water and maintaining the slump, concrete gets higher strength as
well as achieve high waterproof properties. To get the desired strength in concrete. the consumption of cement can be reduced up to 5% by using Con???ow-SR. Con???dw-S reduces the consumption of water up to 30% with same workability.

Where Used?

• Conflow-S is used in all kind of concreting work i.e. in ready mixed, pre-stressed, precast, cast in situ, lightweight or expansion concrete. It is used in casting of Slabs, Slopping Slabs, Beams, Columns and congested reinforcement or thin section structures which gives honeycomb free, high strength waterproof concrete.
• Conflow-S is also used in construction of Bridges, Floors. Foundation concrete, and water Retaining structures like, Sewage Effluent treatment plants, Harbour projects, Water Tanks, Basements, Dams etc. When it is used as water-reducing agent, the early and. final strength of concrete is increased which gives low permeable (waterproof) concrete. Conflow-S is highly recommended in pumpable concrete as well as in Ready Mix Concrete plants.

lnstruction for use:

• Conflow-S should be added to the part of mixing water prior to its addition to ‘wet aggregates - cement mix. Conflow-S should not in any time be added to dry concrete mix. Always mix concrete constituents along with water for a minimum of 3 minutes for getting desired results.

Dosage:

• In one 50 Kg. bag of cement 0.5 to 3% Conflow-S can be used as per the requirement of slump.
