Confiber is a polypropylene fiber specifically designed for the reinforcement of cementitious mortars and concrete mixes and can be easily incorporated in the concrete mix.

It is a widely accepted fact that traditional concrete mixes are prone to plastic shrinkage during the setting phase and this can lead to cracking. ConTech Chemicals developed CONFIBER specifically for the reinforcement of cementitious mortars and concrete mixes. These fibers are made of Alkali Resistant Polypropylene and resistant to acids, other chemicals and can be easily incorporated in the concrete mix. Having the fibrillated structure it ensures better binding and anchoring of aggregates in concrete and plaster Mortar.

Procedure For Mixing:
Mixer Machine:

• Add Confiber in the mixture containing concrete and mortar aggregate with water at the specify dosage mentioned above. Mix thoroughly for 3 to 4 minutes.

Manual Mixture:

• Spread Confiber on the heap of dry concrete / mortar evenly and mix the Confiber for two to three times. Add water to the dry mix and that wet mix thoroughly for 2 to 3 minutes.

• 20-24-30mm : Long Line Pre stressed Concrete Products/ Un-reinforce Pavements /Roads
• 40mm-60mm : Precast Products such as pipes / roofing sheets, slabs
• 60mm-120mm : As above and Plaster of Paris

Dosage:

• 700 - 910gms/m3 of cement or 100 to 125 gm per 50 Kg. bag of cement mix for Concrete or mortar application.
